A coffee brand with a clear head

Halcyon Roasters

A specialty roaster wanted to grow from a single café into a national brand without losing the calm that made regulars stay.

The challenge

Halcyon had a devoted local following and a logo drawn in an afternoon. Scaling meant a system that worked on a bag, a van, and a billboard — while still feeling like the quiet corner shop people loved.

Our approach

We built the identity around a single idea: clarity. A precise grotesk wordmark, a palette pulled from raw and roasted beans, and a flexible label grid that lets every origin tell its own story on shelf.

The outcome

Halcyon launched in 180 stockists in its first year. The new packaging lifted shelf conversion and gave the team a system they can run without us in the room.
